Kollam Magicians Association (KMA) is a leading organization dedicated to the growth and promotion of the art of magic in India. Established in 2013, the association has become a prominent name in the field of magic over the past 11 years through its unique activities and innovative projects. KMA, which has shown its dedication and commitment to the social and cultural upliftment of magicians and the general public through various programs, is today a shining symbol of the preservation and promotion of the art of magic in India.
Main Activities of KMA
Monthly Meetings and Conferences Monthly meetings have been a feature of KMA for the past 11 years. These meetings foster communication and cooperation among the members of the association.
Kanav Scheme
Along with the monthly meetings, the ‘Kanav’ scheme, where a member contributes Rs. 500, is also noteworthy. This scheme is not only interested in cultural associations, but also lays the foundation for the betterment of the lives and well-being of individuals.
Payment Shows
KMA organizes special payment shows for its members every month. These events are an opportunity for the magicians to showcase their performing skills in a beautiful manner.
Magical Education Programs
Teaching classes, workshops, etc. help in enhancing the performance of magicians and promoting scientific perspectives.
Annual Celebrations and Social Gatherings
The KMA organizes major celebrations and gatherings including Onam. These programs are organized in a manner that includes the family members and friends of the members.
Grand National Level Magic Festival
The National Level Magic Festival organized by the KMA at the Sopanam Auditorium in Kollam in 2019 was a great success. This program, which featured the participation of prominent magicians from various states of India, has made it to the 'Best of India World Record' list.
Vazhakunam Commemoration
2025 The memorial service for Professor Vazhakunam Neelakandan Namboothiri, known as the Magic Grandfather of Kerala, is an important commemoration of the KMA. It has been decided to hold the Vazhakunam Commemoration on February 9, 2025, on his 42nd death anniversary, in conjunction with the All Kerala Magic Competition. This will be a great opportunity for the magic lovers and artists of Kerala to celebrate together.
Awards that honor the excellence of magicians
The KMA has instituted four major awards to recognize the talents and dedication of magicians not only in Kerala but also across India:
Jadu Vibhushan
The highest award given to artists who have dedicatedly worked in the art of magic for more than 30 years.
Jadu Shreshtha
Jadu Shreshtha is an award that honors and recognizes 20 years of performance achievement and experience.
Jadu Ratna
Jadu Ratna is an award for 10 years of performance excellence.
Jadu Sri
Magicians with more than five years of experience in the art of magic are honored with the honor of Jadu Sri.

കൊല്ലം മജീഷ്യന്സ് അസോസിയേഷന് (കെ.എം.എ) - മാജിക്കിന്റെ സംരക്ഷണവും പ്രോത്സാഹനവും ലക്ഷ്യം വയ്ക്കുന്ന അപൂര്വ്വത.
കൊല്ലം മജീഷ്യന്സ് അസോസിയേഷന് (കെ.എം.എ) ഇന്ത്യയിലെ മാന്ത്രിക കലയുടെ വളര്ച്ചയ്ക്കും പ്രോത്സാഹനത്തിനും സമര്പ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പ്രമുഖ സംഘടനയാണ്. 2013-ല് സ്ഥാപിതമായ ഈ അസോസിയേഷന്, കഴിഞ്ഞ 11 വര്ഷങ്ങളായി മാന്ത്രികകലാ രംഗത്ത് അദ്വിതീയമായ പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങളിലൂടെയും നവീന പദ്ധതികളിലൂടെയും ശ്രദ്ധേയമായി മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു. വിവിധ പരിപാടികളിലൂടെ മാന്ത്രികരുടെയുടേയും പൊതുജനത്തിന്റെയുമായ സാമൂഹിക, സാംസ്കാരിക ഉന്നമനത്തിന് ത്യാഗവും പ്രതിബദ്ധതയും കാട്ടുന്ന കെ.എം.എ, ഇന്ന് ഇന്ത്യയിലെ മാന്ത്രിക കലയുടെ സംരക്ഷണത്തിന്റെയും പ്രചാരണത്തിന്റെയും ഉജ്ജ്വല പ്രതീകമാണ്.
കെ.എം.എയുടെ പ്രധാന പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങള്
പ്രതിമാസ മീറ്റിംഗുകളും സമ്മേളനങ്ങളും
കഴിഞ്ഞ 11 വര്ഷങ്ങളായി മുടങ്ങാതെ നടത്തിവരുന്ന പ്രതിമാസ മീറ്റിംഗുകള് കെ.എം.എയുടെ സവിശേഷതയാണ്. ഈ മീറ്റിംഗുകള് അസോസിയേഷനിലെ അംഗങ്ങള്ക്കിടയില് ആശയവിനിമയവും സഹകരണവും വളര്ത്തുന്നു.
കനവ് എന്ന പദ്ധതി
പ്രതിമാസ യോഗങ്ങള്ക്കൊപ്പം, ഒരു അംഗത്തിന് 500 രൂപ സംഭാവന നല്കുന്ന 'കനവ്' എന്ന പരിപാടിയും ശ്രദ്ധേയമാണ്. ഈ പരിപാടി സാംസ്കാരിക കൂട്ടായ്മകളില് മാത്രം താത്പര്യമില്ലാത്ത, വ്യക്തികളുടെ ജീവിതത്തിന്റെയും ക്ഷേമത്തിന്റെയും മെച്ചത്തിന് അടിസ്ഥാനം ഒരുക്കുന്ന ഒരു പദ്ധതിയാണിത്.
പേമന്റ് ഷോകള്
കെ.എം.എ പ്രതിമാസം അംഗങ്ങള്ക്കായി പ്രത്യേക പേമന്റ് ഷോ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. ഈ പരിപാടികള് മാന്ത്രികരുടെ പ്രകടന കഴിവുകള് നയനമനോഹരമായ രീതിയില് പ്രദര്ശിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള അവസരമാണ്.
മാന്ത്രിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ പരിപാടികള്
ടീച്ചിംഗ് ക്ലാസ്സുകള്, വര്ക്ക്ഷോപ്പുകള് തുടങ്ങിയവ മാന്ത്രികരുടെ പ്രകടന മികവ് വളര്ത്തുന്നതിലും ശാസ്ത്രീയ കാഴ്ചപ്പാടുകള് പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിലും സഹായിക്കുന്നു.
വര്ഷിക ആഘോഷങ്ങളും സാമൂഹിക കൂട്ടായ്മകളും
ഓണം ഉള്പ്പെടെയുള്ള പ്രധാന ആഘോഷങ്ങളും സംഗമങ്ങളും കെ.എം.എ നടത്തിയുവരുന്നുണ്ട്. ഈ പരിപാടികള് അംഗങ്ങളുടെ കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളെയും സുഹൃത്തുക്കളെയും ഉള്ക്കൊള്ളുന്ന രീതിയിലാണ് നടത്തുന്നത്.
മഹത്തായ നാഷണല് ലെവല് മാജിക് ഫെസ്റ്റിവല്
2019-ല് കെ.എം.എയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില് കൊല്ലത്തെ സോപാനം ഓഡിറ്റോറിയത്തില് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച നാഷണല് ലെവല് മാജിക് ഫെസ്റ്റിവല് ഏറെ വിജയകരമായിരുന്നു. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ വിവിധ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെ പ്രമുഖ മാന്ത്രികര് പങ്കെടുത്ത ഈ പരിപാടി, 'ബെസ്റ്റ് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ വേള്ഡ് റെക്കോഡ്' പട്ടികയിലേയ്ക്ക് ഇടം നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
വാഴകുന്നം അനുസ്മരണം
2025
കേരളത്തിന്റെ മാന്ത്രിക മുത്തച്ഛനായി അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന പ്രൊഫസര് വാഴകുന്നം നീലകണ്ഠന് നമ്പൂതിരിയുടെ അനുസ്മരണ സമ്മേളനം കെ.എം.എയുടെ പ്രധാനമായ ഒരു ഓര്മാനുഷ്ഠാനമാണ്. 2025 ഫെബ്രുവരി 9-ന്, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ 42-ാമത് ചരമദിനത്തില്, അഖിലകേരള മായാജാല മത്സരവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെടുത്തി വാഴകുന്നം അനുസ്മരണം നടത്താന് തീരുമാനിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇത് കേരളത്തിലെ മാന്ത്രിക കലാപ്രേമികള്ക്കും കലാകാരന്മാര്ക്കും ഒന്നിച്ച് കൂടി ആഘോഷിക്കാന് ഒരു മഹത്തായ അവസരമാകും.
മാന്ത്രികരുടെ മികവ് ആദരിക്കുന്ന പുരസ്കാരങ്ങള്
കേരളത്തിലെ മാത്രമല്ല, ഇന്ത്യയിലാകമാനമുള്ള മാന്ത്രികരുടെ കഴിവുകളും സമര്പ്പണവും വിലമതിക്കുന്നതിനായി കെ.എം.എ നാലു പ്രധാന ബഹുമതികള് ഏര്പ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു:
ജാദു വിഭൂഷണ്
30 വര്ഷത്തിലേറെ കാലം മാന്ത്രികകലയില് സമര്പ്പിതമായി പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ച കലാകാരന്മാര്ക്ക് നല്കുന്ന പരമോന്നത ബഹുമതി.
ജാദു ശ്രേഷ്ഠ
20 വര്ഷങ്ങളായുള്ള പ്രകടന നേട്ടത്തിനും അനുഭവസമ്പത്തിനും ആദരവും അംഗീകാരവും നല്കുന്ന ബഹുമതിയാണ് ജാദു ശ്രേഷ്ഠ.
ജാദു രത്ന
10 വര്ഷക്കാലത്തെ പ്രകടന മികവിന്റെ പുരസ്കാരമാണ് ജാദു രത്ന.
ജാദു ശ്രീ
മാന്ത്രിക കലയില് അഞ്ച് വര്ഷത്തിലധികം അനുഭവപരിചയമുള്ള മാന്ത്രികരെ ജാദുശ്രീ എന്ന ബഹുമതിയാല് ആദരിക്കുന്നു.
കെ.എം.എയുടെ നിലപാട് - മാന്ത്രിക കലയോടുള്ള പ്രതിബദ്ധത
